Overview

At some point in your life you will be asked to speak in front of an audience.  You may be asked to share your point of view on a subject or to give information about a product or event. Maybe you will be asked to lead a group discussion at school or work. Whatever the case, you will need to know how to organize your thoughts and present your ideas to be understood. In this course, you will learn how to prepare and deliver two informative speeches.

This course is for intermediate, non-native speakers of English who plan to attend a university in the United States and need to master academic reading and writing skills.

Lessons include video presentations, authentic listening passages, downloadable handouts, and interactive quizzes.
